Strawberry Deal Opens in Paducah District Ky
Paducah Kentucky May 17 The strawberry shipping deal in this district opened lightly last week with a few cars of Blakemores. It grew this week as the Aroma harvest began, Aromas making up about 95 percent of the deal. Prospects are around 500 cars for the season, lasting two to three weeks. Red raspberries will move from here early in June with about 60 cars expected. From 50 to 60 cars of peaches are expected, mainly Elbertas, shipping late July into early August.

California will have a satisfactory fruit and nut season with no real short crops. The lemon crop may be the largest ever. moisture was ample and freezes light.
