Charles HB Moore a 63 year old operator of Chas E Moore & Co at 216 West Sixth street was arrested Thursday by local police on prohibition violations. Officers seized 140 gallons of liquor and 300 bottles of beer. The city chemist testified the liquids contained alcohol beyond legal limits. The case was continued to today. The confiscation drew street excitement as police wagons blocked the doorway witnessed by Apple convention attendees. Moore denied ownership of the liquor and claimed it was vinegar.
