Wilmore Sunk by German Submarine. All Crew Rescued

The American steamship Wilmore of 5390 tons gross, built in 1914 as the Atlantic, was sunk by a German submarine on Sept 12 according to the British Admiralty. All crew members were saved. details are scarce. The Wilmore, commanded by Capt James Berner, sailed from Philadelphia Aug 26 with coal locomotives and crude oil bound for a French port.
