Daily market report from Leaver Livestock shows a light cattle run of about 1,600 head with steady to firm prices. Beef cattle demand remains good with steers at 6.40 to 7.00, cows 5.50 to 6.20, and feeders strong with steers 6.78 to 7.00. Hog trade softer in later listing with top hogs around 7.25, while sheep and lambs show active bidding and steady values across multiple lots.
Union Pacific main line times list arrivals and departures for trains including the Cheyenne Portland Flyer California Express and Pacific Limited. Denver Pacific lines note southbound arrivals and departures with multiple No. trains and times across western routes.
