Tens of thousands cheered as Mme. Margherita Steinhoff was acquitted of murdering her husband Adolphe Steinhoff and her stepmother Mme. Japy after a two and a half hour jury verdict. She was released amid cheers and led away from Labare prison.
Wheatland Wyoming November 13 Clarence and Willie Seward aged 10 and 12 killed a large snake den on their uncle J N Mertz farm. They flooded the den with irrigation water and killed thirty one rattles and six bull snakes. Some rattlers had ten rattles and a button. the bull snakes were said to be the largest seen in the area.
Policeman Harry Bright, eight months known in local police circles, tendered his resignation this morning. He will leave with the change of shifts and has bought an interest in the Cheyenne saloon on Ferguson street.
Sheridan plans a new bank, state or national, in the near future led by Peter Demple and local capitalists with Walter Schoonmaker, currently cashier at a Newcastle, Wyoming bank, associated with the project.

Wheatland Wyoming November 13 Will iam Aukerman a farmer was chased up a tree by a range bull in the Sybille valley. The animal stood beneath the tree for two hours challenging him to come down. Aukerman refused to fight and the bull eventually wandered off.
James Talbot was found at midnight near Sixteenth and Thames with a deep head wound. He was taken to the police station and treated by Dr. Snyder. He says a Ninth Cavalry trooper inflicted the injury.
The American Federation of Labor went on record in favor of women’s suffrage. It also backed an eight hour day for post office clerks, protection for actors from extortion theatrical agencies, rental payments bank reforms, deep waterways, and regulation of employment agencies.
