In Thermopolis Wyoming on November 3 Justice Thompson sentenced Hubert Fletcher to a $109 fine and six months in the county jail for cruelty to a horse. Fletcher was found guilty of beating a mare with a club and of injuring her eyes. The blinded horse was produced as evidence and then shot.
