Cheyenne Boosters Welcome On Lincoln Highway Trip

Ten automobiles carrying 36 Lincoln Highway boosters left the Plains hotel at 7 28 am on the Cheyenne Big Springs booster trip under the Cheyenne Motor Club. The party, traveling via Sidney and Big Springs, reached Nebraska in five hours, with stops along the Lincoln Highway. An organized effort to promote continental travel and good roads brought a Nebraska Wyoming association into being at Sidney. The Sidney commercial club gave a royal welcome with a band, and the group departed for Cheyenne after a warm reception.

Cheyenne Ranch 2 National Order of Cowboy Rangers to Be Instituted

The Cheyenne Ranch No 2 of the National Order of Cowboy Rangers will be instituted in Cheyenne on Friday night May 21 with a Denver drill team. A Rawlins ranch may form May 22 and Kawl ina Ranch No 14 initiation may follow. The order aims to preserve frontier deeds as it grows from Wyoming to the east. Denver businessmen will join the Cheyenne event and a special train from the national ranch is planned for Frontier Day festivities with families.
