Denver reports on last week’s New York curb market activity with Wyoming stock listings. Allen Oil, Elk Hasin, Knickerbocker Wyoming, Merritt, Midest Oil common and preferred shares traded in quantities from 50 to 67,006. Ohio Cities Gas increases oil interests and Pure Oil sale plans at 24.50 per share, while surplus rose from 1.6 million to about 44.6 million in a year, affecting distributions.
Corporate donations reported to Governor Hall push total contributions from businesses to more than 40 000. Among contributors are Franco Wyoming Oil Midwest Oil Western Light and Power Kinney Oil and Refining and Beneficial Life Insurance with sums of 3000 2000 100 7200 respectively.

An American steamer arriving in ballast from a British port on June 22 reported a June 4 encounter with a German submarine. A torpedo struck but did not explode, and the steamer’s gun crew set the submarine ablaze, causing it to vanish after its periscope was destroyed.
In St Louis on June 22 police announce Claud Pierson admitted involvement in the Baby Lloyd Keet kidnapping and murder case. Paul M. O'Dea said Pierson's statements, though non confessory, implicate others not yet publicly named.
In an unofficial semi professional golf contest between Cheyenne and Casper, Cheyenne led by Charlie Hirsig fell to Casper by six holes. Jerry Mahoney of Casper defeated Hirsig while Jack Pruitt and Woodie Wilson served as caddies at the country club.
