A 1908 09 Oregon enclosure experiment kept about 100 acres of sheep within a fence, saving most lambs. Coyotes likely entered, but the method yielded higher lamb crops, fatter sheep, and better range condition than open grazing, prompting planned improvements and a ground barbed wire addition.
The City of Cheyenne announces a sale of delinquent real estate and sewer improvement bonds on July 27 1910 at the Cheyenne Court House. Chicago July 19 Champion Jack Johnson must surrender about 700 to Cook county after boasts following a dispute with George Little over alleged assets. He is to be assessed on personal property including 330000 in bank funds a luxury automobile and 14000 in diamonds. His fight profits from July 4 are exempt under Illinois law.
