The Bon Shoe & Clothing store on Carey avenue in Cheyenne was burglarized Monday night. Robbers lowered a knotted rope from the skylight and removed coats vests mufflers neckties shirts jewelry underwear and shoes. Police and the sheriff searched for two suspects and the rope purchaser, with no results.
President Wilson presents a full address to Congress detailing eight months since his last speech, outlining U S aims in the war against Germany and framing the national policy and goals guiding American involvement and mobilization.

London reports the British steamer Apapa torpedoed and sunk. Eighty passengers and crew perished while about 120 were saved. Reports allege the submarine fired on women and children in open boats.
Italian and Austro German forces clash along the upper and middle Piave as the enemy constructs bridges to Grave de Papatopoli and presses on the Montello front. Reports say eleven bridges reach the middle ground while lower Piave pontoon structures are shelled by Italian batteries.
The War Emergency Council of the Baking Industry recommends immediate price reductions nationwide. Bakers will operate under government license starting December 10 using a fixed formula to produce a standardized loaf for the Food Administration.
Washington reports detail army engineering expenditures for the expeditionary force. Major General William H. Mach presents figures totaling near one billion dollars for equipment, railways, and construction to support 1.5 million engineers and troops, with emphasis on sustaining operations and logistics.
Washington December 4. Scores of Austro Hungarian aliens in the United States will be arrested within hours after a war declaration against Austria. Many have been under Justice Department surveillance for months but lacked definite evidence. A formal declaration would instantly make naturalized subjects enemy aliens subject to summary arrest and removal. About one million Austrian subjects in the U S would be affected and denied travel without permits and barred from certain facilities.
The War Trade Board releases a list titled the enemy trading list naming 1600 firms in Central America South American nations and others forbidden to trade with the United States except under special licenses.
