Odgen Utah August 26. Mrs Ollie Clough and her 14 year old son Ray confessed to the murder of James Clough after the son stole a key to a strong box and a revolver. The mother aided by guiding the shots. Mrs Clough was sent to a state mental hospital after being found insane by a district court jury. The boy will be arraigned Friday on first degree murder charges.
Secretary Colby quietly signed the proclamation declaring the woman suffrage amendment part of the U.S. Constitution after Tennessee issued final approval. Suffrage supporters held a mass meeting and declared voting rights guaranteed in November, while Colby said his act was a simple duty.
