Frontier Days Opens With Splendid Day of Action

The Eighteenth Annual Frontier Days began at Frontier Park amid clouds and rain but strong crowd spirit. The program featured burro exhibition, cow pony races, a cowgirl half-mile, roping stunts by Cuba Crutchfield and others, plus a wild horse race and an Indian dance, with several delays due to rain yet lively crowd approval.
