Two all metal Larsen monoplanes arrive in Cheyenne from Omaha to survey transcontinental air mail route to San Francisco. The pilots are Lt Samuel C Eton Jr and Bert Acosta with crews and passengers including J A Bockhorst Major Lent and Eddie Rickenbacker. A third plane wrecks on takeoff from Omaha.
A sizable blaze gutted the Cheyenne Electric Street Railway car barn Tuesday night destroying the barn and four new trailers and two motor cars valued at about 10 000 each four trailers worth 8 000 each plus tools and repair parts. The fire started from a short circuit and firefighters faced peril as wires short circuited and the big fire truck broke down delaying response.

Philadelphia dispatch reports postal inspectors say they arrested a man at Egg Harbor New Jersey on Monday in the Norristown Pennsylvan ia kidnapping case of 13 month old child of Mr and Mrs George Coughlin. They cannot identity the prisoner or location of detention. Chief Postal Inspector Leonard expects the arrest may lead to recovering the child. The suspect is said to be the author of letters signed Tha Grank demanding 12000 dollars left at a deserted trolley station near Swedeland. The family followed the instructions and money vanished with no further word until last week when new demands arrived.
