The German government definitively annulled the peace resolution “without annexations or indemnities” passed by the relcastag majority. An official dispatch from France cites Tageblatt Rundschau stating Count Hertling warned leaders of the majority he would resign if they opposed his view. The majority then endorsed the imperial program including annexation of French territory and Belgian Flanders.

Petition Urging Death to Spies Circulates in State

Postmaster Walter L. Larsh received a copy of a Rock Springs produced petition by M. A. Anderson urging death to all German spies. An Atlantic port report says the crew of submarine U-58, sunk by an American destroyer, arrived in the United States. The about twenty prisoners are to be interned, with exact numbers not released.

Fresh German attacks repulsed after Bailleul loss
