Wyoming Advocate P W Jenkins Pushes Ocean Route Plan
P W Jenkins of Cora Wyoming returns from New York with a plan by the Great Lakes St Lawrence Tidewater Association to build an ocean highway from the lakes to the sea. The project would cut freight costs and boost western coal and farm exports, spanning 14 states and involving Canada. Estimates place cost near 250 million to 350 million with potential 2,000,000 horsepower of power for the East. Major supporters include Leonard Wood Hoover and Daniels.
