Chetwynd motorists praised for safe August driving

South Peace Traffic Services and the Chetwynd RCMP commend area drivers for August safety with no serious injury crashes. Provincial ICBC data show a large drop in paraplegic and quadriplegic injuries since 1996 to 2001 averages, linked to impaired driving and seat belt campaigns. Kennedy urges Don't drink and drive and always wear a seatbelt, reporting on impaired driver tips.

RCMP Seek Two Missing Men in Prince George Area

Prince George RCMP ask for public help locating Robert McDonald 62 last seen Sept 2 and Michael Hodgson 24 last seen April 15 in Prince George. McDonald is 6 ft 2 in, Caucasian, with brown gray hair, glasses, wearing a yellow shirt over a white tee khaki pants and grey sneakers. Hodgson is 1.70 m, 60 kg, brown hair and eyes.
