New Cowboy Poetry Event and Book Picks at Local Library
A library brief highlights Mike Puhallo, a cowboy poet, and his readings at Pine Valley Seniors Hall with a chili potluck at 6 p.m. and performance at 7 p.m. on Sept 28. Funding from Writers in Libraries supports the visit, with donations of non-perishable food for the Christmas Hamper Fund. Additional book notes include Greely’s Bishop and the Missing L Train and Kennedy Jr. life recounts, DNA evidence cases in Hidden Evidence, Star Spangled Canadians, Soldiers Story Victory at Falaise, and The Mozart Effect for Children.
