Excellent participation at half marathon in Chetwynd
Tracy McCall reports Chetwynd and District Recreation Centre hosted its 23rd annual Half Marathon drawing 66 participants across five divisions. The 22.3 km course along Tumbler Ridge Highway includes an 11 km uphill section before downhills to the finish at Cottonwood Hall. Prizes went to top finishers in Masters Men and Women, Senior Men and Women, and Run Relay, with t shirts and lunch included.

Moberly Lake Mens Open Championship Results
The Moberly Lake and District Golf Club hosted a two day 36 hole Men’s Open on Sept 8 9 with a skins event opening accounts. Champion Rod Martin posted gross 156 and Rob Webb won Men’s Club Champion with a 172 while Dale Jensen claimed Sr. Club Champion and Dale Phillips led four flights in Low Net scores.
