Two men charged after break in at Chetwynd library and school
Chetwynd Centennial Library and Secondary High School were broken into around midnight last Friday. Lawrence Miles Andrews, 27, was arrested inside the school and charged with break and entry with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. Tony Andrews, 34, was arrested later. both charged with break and entry with two counts in Dawson Creek Provincial Court.

Chetwynd Area Community Resources Society Formed

Snow damages crops and delays harvest in September

Chetwynd Restaurant Opens After Fire Damage
The Chetwynd Motor Hotel Restaurant opened to the public on Tuesday in the former B C Hydro offices. A bus tour this week used the newly renovated rooms as facilities return to normal after a May fire. Owner Vern Haugen expects the lounge in the ballroom to open this month.
