Pilgrims of Saint Michael urge action on money for public works
At the District of Chetwynd Council meeting a letter from the Pilgrims of Saint Michael urged a resolution asking the federal government to order the Bank of Canada to create money for feasible public works. The letter argued financing hides the cost of loans via interest, noting municipalities pay twice or three times the real price for aqueduct projects. The council approved signing and sending the resolution back to the Pilgrims.
