Parson's Pen by Dr Helen Reiser Retired Missionary Doctor
In October three retirees visited Chetwynd while four similar groups toured Vanderhoof and western northern BC. The team led by Rev Dr Don Peel held three evenings of services at Chetwynd Shared Ministry Church with songs by Harry Funk. The retired family physician Carl Consultant from Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital shares her calling to spread Jesus Christ while noting issues of addiction and broken relationships encountered in her decades of medical practice. The piece invites readers to share the love of Jesus in their communities.
