Deaths In Moberly Lake Ask City Funeral Services
A double funeral service was held Tuesday October 26 at St Teresa Church for Ricky Cameron and Martha Garbitt. Ricky Cameron died in a mining exploration accident in the Sukunka Valley aged in his late twenties. Martha Garbitt died October 24 after a long illness at Fort St John Providence Hospital aged 83. Surviving relatives include Cameron and Garbitt families from Moberly Lake, and others in Chetwynd Yukon Ontario and Newfoundland. Reverend Jungbloth officiated and burial occurred at Moberly Lake Cemetery.

Hudson Hope group ends after lack of attendance
After an October 12, 1971 meeting, the Hudson Hope Home and School Association announced its discontinuation. The president said the year end meeting dealt a grave blow to the future school awards program and other donations due to poor attendance, noting two attendees attended the abortive meeting.

Court Continues Liquor in Public Place Case
