Change in site choice hearings for Hasler Flats dispute
The Hasler Flats group objects to 309 acres being removed from Agriculture Reserve arguing loss of ranch self sufficiency and soil harm from sulphur dioxide. Ramp planned for Williston Lake access road
A boat launching ramp will be built at Dunlevy Creek on the north shore of the Peace Beach at Williston Lake. Minister Sam Rawlf of Recreation and Conservation announced the project. B C Hydro will contribute 75000 toward the required access road construction.

Village studies vandalism to push for action in Chetwynd

One permit for 294,954.00 was returned as a business building west of the Dairy Bar near Windrem Creek was canceled.
