Tom Cleaver of Chet Supply and Repair has earned a Class C licence, qualifying him as a resident electrical contractor for house wiring and trailer hookups. The Library Development Commission fall workshop gathered representatives from Ponce Coupe, Dawson Creek, Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Hudson Hope and Chetwynd for a day long session. A Peace River Liard River Regions library system was approved in principle, contingent on a shared constitution. Next meeting is Nov 29 in Fort St. John at Bert Bowes Secondary School. Mr. C J Newman spoke on Writing in Canada and teaches creative writing at UBC while working on his third novel. The session included learning on effective meeting techniques.
