Priest from Britain joins northern B C parishes
Father David John from Great Britain is the new priest serving Chetwynd, Moberly Lake, and Tumbler Ridge. He arrived a month ago and plans to stay five years, spending time in Tumbler Ridge and attending Moberly Lake services. He is 10 years ordained, with Oct. 28 marking his anniversary, and remarks on the warmth of local people and northern challenges. Congregations total about 30-40 at Moberly Lake, 100 at Tumbler Ridge, and 140 in Chetwynd.
