Extra wide homes eyed for Chetwynd move
The British Columbia Ministry of Transportation plans an early year announcement about allowing 16 foot wide manufactured homes in the Chetwynd area. The Dawson Creek trial, within 50 kilometres, had ended in October and is being extended while safety and transportation implications are reviewed. Previously only homes under 14.5 feet wide could move on provincial roads.
