MFA raises additional 43.5 million for British Columbia municipalities
The Municipal Finance Authority of British Columbia reports a further 43.5 million raised in the domestic market, bringing MFA’s total since 1971 to 407.9 million. About 18.5 million goes to the Provincial Government and its agencies, with 25 million sold to the public via a syndicate led by A.E. Ames & Co. Ltd. The funds will benefit some 40 municipalities and several regional districts across the province.
