Canada Works funding approved for Prince George area projects
Employment Minister Bud Cullen authorized 1,438,252 for 49 phase 2 Canada Works projects in the Prince George Peace River riding. The plan promises 264 jobs and 8,255 weeks of work with several initiatives including research for Wally Welding Machine Ltd. and programs to aid handicapped adults in Dawson Creek. A Prince George Art Gallery promotion will create 100 weeks of work and a 28,392 allocation supports art rental and education.

Mail service closed on Remembrance Day 1977
