Echo Adopts Centralized Publication Policy
The Echo announces a new rule requiring all publication items to go through the Chetwynd office. Previously some late items were accepted at the Dawson Creek printing plant, causing confusion and errors.

Absentia trials with fines in Canadian case list
In absentia trials before Judge D. Levis on November 7 1974 led to guilty verdicts and fines for Charles Allen Carlson R Hanson Construction David Bruce Asmussen and Walter Sochan. Carlson fined 50 for failing to report to weigh scales in October 1974. Hanson Construction fined 100 for operating without a Motor Carrier Licence. Asmussen fined 125 for being overloaded and 70 for oversized load. Sochan pled guilty to driving with a breathalyzer over .08 and received 30 day sentences plus a six month driving ban and 30 days for noncompliance. Blair appearance noted.
