Tourism under threat from Clear Cutting near Alaska Highway
At PRAHTA's annual meeting in Chetwynd concerns were raised over tourism damage from extensive clear cutting along the Hart Highway. Williston Lake water levels affecting MacKenzie mills and campgrounds were also discussed, with B.C. Hydro cited as reducing levels for dam operations and pumping efforts.
