Wheelchair Demo Team Inspires Chetwynd Students
Vancouver based B C Wheelchair Sports Demo Team visited Chetwynd on Tuesday April 19 1994 touring Dokie School CSS and Don Titus to showcase basketball skills and promote abilities not disabilities. Five athletes Mark Cormack Ken Hall Brad Rautio Cyril Kinakin and Cody Stiles demonstrated to students and teachers detailing injury prevention and life beyond limits while sharing stories of challenges on road tours reaching around 4000 students.
