Tumbler Ridge awards lodge contracts to Angus Catering and Quadra Ventures
Tumbler Ridge Commissioner Patrick Walsh announced two firms Angus Catering of Dawson Creek and Quadra Ventures of Vancouver and Chetwynd will each provide an industrial lodge for the townsite. Six proposals were considered with camps to house 168 plus workers and operate for four years starting May. Proposals were judged on quality price and adherence to council standards. Angus offered 58 per day and Quadra Ventures 39.95 per day for the lodge. Additional lodges may be needed later and crews will use mostly northern suppliers.
