Dr. John Woronuk was recognized at the March Northern Lights College Board meeting for a double term totaling just under five years of service. Chairman Charlie Lasser presented an inscribed silver tray and praised his contributions to Dawson Creek and the Peace River area's cultural life. He noted Woronuk enjoys violin playing.

Community festival workshop held in Prince George
