Don Titus School Hosts Winter Festival in Chetwynd
The first Winter Festival sanctioned by the B C Festival of Sports was hosted by Don Titus School in Chetwynd with students from Don Titus Windrem Chetwynd Elem Sec Moberly Lake and Dawson Creek in day long events. Competitions included cross country skiing curling skating toboggan and snowshoe races as well as floor hockey with walkie talkies keeping organizers linked. Crests awarded for top three in each event with trophies to Chetwynd Elem Secondary Grade six Don Titus Grade five and Windrem Grade four. Plans already aim for a next year festival.
