Chetwynd Enterprise Project Starts To Grow Local Businesses
Six adults join 14 youth at Chetwynd Secondary School to form the Chetwynd Enterprise Project sponsored by Employment Canada and the Career Preparation in Entrepreneurship program. They will develop business plans and skills while engaging with local entrepreneurs like Daniel and Sue Rothlisberger of the Swiss Inn to learn practical customer focus and service discipline. The program, coordinated by June Bottemiller, aims to spark local enterprise, create employment, and expand services in Chetwynd over six months as participants study marketing, management, and customer needs.
