BC Liberals pledge to protect BC Hydro from sale
Liberal Leader Gordon Campbell issued a statement on March 1 asserting BC Hydro belongs to the people of British Columbia and should remain under crown ownership. He criticized the NDP for viewing BC Hydro as a cash cow and siphoning about 2.5 billion into general revenue since 1992 93. The party reiterated it will protect and strengthen BC Hydro.
