Hospital auxiliary installs new executive at Chetwynd
The women’s auxiliary to the Chetwynd Hospital met February 26 at Yips Cafe for dinner and installation. They offered a doll raffle with draw set for April 11 and bake sale. Memberships to the hospital society were sold at $2.00. The meeting featured a hospital statistics display and remarks by Mrs. Hoffman. The 1974 executive was installed in a candlelight ceremony with new members welcomed. next meeting is March 26 at 8 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria.

RCMP officers honored for bravery in Fort Nelson incident
Constable Joe Schalk and two other RCMP officers in the northern E Division received bravery commendations. Sgt. Vincent Hollingworth and Const.
