Marian Parkers Sunday Mass and small town notes
Marian Parkers weekly column from Moberly Lake recalls a missing sound from Father Jungbluth as Mass at St Theresa church resumes. The piece notes local illnesses, remodeling at Ken Cross’s confectionery store, job changes for Alex Cardinal, family visits of Desjarlais relatives, and personal musings on Februarys length and music tastes. The column ends with a humorous aside about stereo listening and differing tastes.

Letters To The Editor From Moberly Lake Community Voices
A reader writes on native people opposing a local pound at Moberly Lake warning that it would bring conflict and prefer a community pasture. The letter also commends MLAs Ed Smith and Don Marshall for supporting teacher salary restraint, calling it a brave stand in Canada.
