Brownies from Chetwynd and Moberly Lake Packs joined 39 girls plus four leaders and eight mothers at Camp Disco Fever 84 at Moberly Lake Youth Centre. Vandalism cut water Friday. fathers Clark Moreau and Wallington hauled water. Leaders Bonnie Moreau Sylvia Wallington Margie Grant Kathy Watkins assisted by mothers and Janice Sabulsky taught astronomy. posters and disco night followed. Parents returned Sunday for ceremonies and fly up to Guides.

Fonyo Ends Atlantic Run After Raising 165000
Steve Fonyo, an 18 year old one legged runner from Vernon B C, completes the Atlantic leg of his cross country trek raising 165000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. He started March 31 in St Johns Newfoundland and hopes to finish in Vancouver in November. He praised Atlantic Canadians hospitality and said the sum exceeded his expectations.
