Little Prairie opens greenhouse in Chetwynd community gardens
In Chetwynd on June 13 Little Prairie Elementary unveiled a 30 by 40 foot greenhouse as part of a yearlong, 75 by 100 foot sustainable food growth project. Students built wooden beds and a shed while volunteers completed the metal framed greenhouse and solar roof. The event highlighted hands on learning about plant cloning nutrition and outdoor classroom skills for life.
