Local fundraiser aids ex-resident’s ski sit need
Chetwynd residents raised over 2400 dollars for Matt Thola, a former local who injured his spine in 2006 and uses a wheelchair. Funds from a silent auction and dessert bar support his goal to ski again with a sit ski, despite theft of his gear earlier in March.
