Public meeting outlines forest land plan near Chetwynd
On June 16 at the Recreation Center a public information session on the Forest Land Management Plan drew over twenty locals. The Dawson Creek Forest District plan aims to include all groups in planning, share information, and seek consensus before finalizing guidance for land and resource use. A small discussion group of about thirty representatives is planned for September with completion expected in two years.
