Library family TV diet boosts reading and playtime
A Chetwynd Public Library program converts 15 minute reading blocks into 15 minutes of screen time, encouraging kids Kase and Kaylin to swap TV and games for books. After one month, reading rises and siblings play together more, with continued use planned through the school year. Fay Asleson, head librarian, notes the initiative and invites questions at 788-2559.
