Chetwynd History Pieces Highlight Local Highlights
Submissions by Amy Meyer for the Little Prairie Heritage Society mark Chetwynd's 40th anniversary. Notes include Irene McLarty’s retirement after twelve years as librarian, Chase Westgate’s 50th wedding anniversary reception at the Elks, Bunne Hoffman elected president of the CCOC, and Charlie Lasser becoming mayor. The article also recalls a major local building spree surpassing one million dollars and a Legion Hall tribute to Father Emile Jungbluth on 40 years ordination.
