Three new RCMP members welcomed to Chetwynd detachment
The RCMP detachment in Chetwynd adds three new members: Cpl Len Jerritt from Sydney Mines Nova Scotia now in charge, Cst R T Boal from Prince George and Cst Chuck Klaudt from Medicine Hat Alberta. Jerritt has served at multiple northern and western posts and plans outdoor activities with his family of four children.

Chetwynd Court Proceedings July 10 1975 Guilty Pleas Report
Judge Levis presided in Chetwynd Provincial Court on July 10 1975. Lawrence Lawton pleaded guilty to impaired driving for an incident July 6 1975 and was fined 390 dollars with 15 days in jail in default and a 30 day driving prohibition across Canada. Walter Pidgeon admitted to possession of marijuana under NCA 3(1) for July 5 1975, fined 75 dollars with 5 days in jail in default. Leonard Belcourt of Goodfare Alberta pleaded guilty to a muffler noise offense under S 7.03 MVAR and was fined 20 dollars. Ralph Assassin was found guilty of no driver’s license under Sec 18(1) MVAR after absent Ex Parte trial. fined 50 dollars. John Paul McClarty of Chetwynd found guilty of Breach of Probation Sec 666 C C after prior December 1974 possession charge. Judge Levis placed him on continued probation. Joseph Brass of Chetwynd noted as continued on page 4.
