Chetwynd Road and Airport Paving Projects Land Key Details

Roadwork covers northern segment from intersection with Chetwynd Hudson Hope Highway and John Hart Peace River Highway route 97 from Walei bridge east 4.34 km plus 4.02 km access road paving in The third part is paving Chetwynd Airport 1.8 km south of 50th street route 97 junction. Work for V of Chetwynd and Ministry of Energy Transport and Communication administers Airport Assistance Fund. The contract totals about 25 000 tons asphalt concrete and 245 000 litres spray primer. The project includes runway 1200 m by 23 m, a taxiway and apron, plus two road sections and the airport.
