Crews quickly reopened the British Columbia Rail line 30 kilometers north of a Prince George area city after a derailment Saturday evening. Ten cars of an eighty car southbound freight derailed at mile 481.3, four LPG, three gasoline, three diesel railcars affected, with no injuries. A dam contained most fuel spill, track cleared by Monday morning, cause unknown. About six trains delayed in the Northern area.

Autoplan claims fell to 476,000 while average claim cost rose 10 percent to 1,171, drivers faced modest premium increases under a six percent rate cap and higher deductibles.
