Airport runway review to receive funding for Chetwynd
The District of Chetwynd will get up to 40000 for a runway engineering study funded by the air transport assistance program, backed by the Transportation Financing Authority. The project aims to assess pavement needs and costs for a new surface to curb runway deterioration and improve airport access and regional competitiveness.

Auto Tour Signs Set for Chetwynd Centre Shelters
The Ministry of Forests won council approval to install an Auto Tour Sign Shelter at the Chetwynd Tourist Information Centre. A self guided route from Bennett Dam to Kinuseo Falls will feature maps and photos at Hudsons Hope Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge centres, with July 17 1995 targeted for installation in Chetwynd.
