Critters and Beasties of Moberly Lake
June at Moberly Lake notes a changing avifauna with evening grosbeaks and a nesting woodpecker family visiting feeders. She describes chickadees, pine siskins, purple finches, tree sparrows, and a young saw whet owl sighting, plus a mallard on shore and grouse youngsters. Mushrooms and moths add forest color as June, a 20 year resident, shares wildlife observations.
