Chetwynd Aims For Five Blooms In National Program
Chetwynd joins Communities in Bloom with judges Ashley Langridge and Edgar Troop arriving soon to tour the town. The competition screens eight criteria including floral displays turf and ground cover and heritage preservation as Chetwynd competes in the 5,001 to 10,000 population category against several other municipalities. Last year the town earned four blooms with a special mention and residents are urged to weed litter clean windows and spruce up displays ahead of July 19 to help secure a top score when awards are handed in September.
